The “where do I put my TV” question comes up too much not to anticipate the answer when we stage a home. Since TVs are lightweight now, and we can hang them on the wall, and components can be hidden inside furniture and behind walls with the right sensors, so… if the media cabinet doesn’t need to hold as much media anymore, what’s its purpose? How will the way we use it change? For one, now that it doesn’t have to support the weight of an old school TV and a million DVDs, it can be a lighter, more attractive piece of furniture.
